When I first tasted sake more than 25 years ago, I was compelled to exclaim, “This is the nectar of the gods!” and I have been enjoying it ever since.
I’m Tad Donaghe, and I am a sake enthusiast who wants to share the Good Word of Japan’s most amazing invention - sake! In particular, my special sake interest is pairing sake with food. In my opinion, sake is the most versatile beverage to pair with food on the planet.
In the top menu of this site, you will see a link to my Sake Collection. This is a very small selection of the sake I have tried and (mostly) enjoyed over the years. As of this date, there’s almost 80 bottles, but I have sampled at least a couple hundred, all in the United States.
Please look forward to updates and reviews and bare with me while I address any bugs and other issues I haven’t found yet.
